VACANCY: LONG-TERM VOLUNTEER – FIELD COORDINATOR
Are you an experienced healthcare professional or first aider looking to make a real impact? First Aid Support Team (FAST) is seeking a dedicated volunteer to coordinate our first aid service for people on the move in Calais and Dunkirk.
We are currently recruiting a long-term field coordinator to start at the end of March 2025 for a minimum of three months. If you are passionate about humanitarian work and have the skills to lead in a challenging but rewarding environment, we’d love to hear from you!

What FAST is looking For

- The skills and confidence to lead our fieldwork with autonomy while following FAST’s guidelines.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Fluency in English (French is a plus).
- A clean driving license and comfort driving a left-hand drive vehicle.
Your Responsibilities
As a Field Coordinator, you will:
- Deliver first aid shifts
- Act as a key contact for volunteers and ensure smooth coordination and scheduling.
- Manage first aid supplies and logistics.
- Liaise with other NGOs to improve services.
- Stay in regular contact with the FAST board and ex-field coordinators for support and guidance.
- Contribute to strategy discussions and online meetings to help develop FAST’s work.
